8′2 Soft-top surfboard
Somewhere between a mini-mal and a longboard.
Sitting between a mini-mal and a longboard, this board is stable, light and quick to catch small, slow waves. That balance is why it works so well for surf schools: students learn on it and keep riding it as they improve.
We shape a flat deck over an EPS core with plywood stringers, lay fiberglass above and below, and vacuum-bag the IXPE top and HDPE bottom. The rails are wrapped in EVA, and thruster fins and a leash are included.
